Homebrew Competitions
In conjunction with the "Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine and Cheese" Festival in La Crosse, WI, we host a home brew competition every spring. Sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association, this event is an opportunity to gain insight into your brews (by national ranked and certified judges) and perhaps be awarded "bling" and bragging rights in the process. Thanks to all that entered, judged, and contributed to making the 2024 contest a success. It was our BIGGEST ever with nearly 200 entries! Winners can be found at our Competition Website. We will do it again - roughly March of 2025.
Working with Oktoberfest U.S.A.here in La Crosse, WI, the LAGERS are hosting a German-style homebrew competition. Sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association, you have the opportunity to show off your German brewing chops, from lagers to hefes and any other traditional German style. Want to know more? Registration will likely open in August of 2024. Not a lot of details yet, so make sure to check back if you are interested in throwing your hat (or beers in this case) into the ring. Note: the same competition site we use for the Between the Bluffs competition is used for this one. So information currently located there may reflect the BTB.
